The gigantic festival has become an institution in the city, where eleven stages host music acts of local factions of jazz, blues, gospel, brass band, and folk-rock alongside headliners. Mobile music bands toured through the stalls selling crafts, art, or fried food (beignets po-boys! Catfish! Crab cakes!)
Picking the revelers as they danced their way from one stage to another. We spent the weekend doing much of the same. These are our best live photos 2014 second weekend of Jazz Fest, including Arcade Fire, Trombone Shorty, Alabama Shakes, Charles Bradley, and more.
